Mosinee United Methodist Church is a people called to seek, save, serve, and send people for Jesus Christ. Founded in 1866, Mosinee UMC has a long history of being involved in our local community. Today, we remain a relevant and vibrant congregation making a real difference.
Mosinee UMC offers a variety of Spirit-filled worship opportunities throughout the week. Sunday morning worship includes an 8:30am traditional service with classic church hymns usually accompanied by pipe organ, and a 10:30am contemporary service with modern praise songs and a great band. Monday evenings at 6:30pm our prayer group meets in the chapel to pray for each other and for our community. Wednesdays at 6:30pm we have a small, informal worship service in the chapel featuring a short message, singing (often accompanied by guitar), prayer, and discussion.
We support missions extensively. We are often involved in special projects globally and regionally, plus many ongoing local missions:
- Carpenters for Christ – Local handymen and women who work on homes and repairs for people in need. (Contact Rick Swanson, 715-693-1780 or 2swanson@mtc.net)
