Our church remains active in missions, both local and global. In April, Cassie and Carissa Welch and their parents talked about the Compassion International program of sponsoring needy children in third-world countries. By the end of May, Mosinee UMC members had sponsored ten new children! (If you missed this opportunity, see the Compassion Mission article for a second chance.)

During May we packed sewing kits for distribution through the Midwest Missions Distribution Center (http://www.midwestmissiondc.org/) of The United Methodist Church. These kits contain the basic supplies needed to make and repair clothing, including three yards of cloth. Mosinee UMC members contributed 19 kits! We also turned in 31 health kits packed by the conference confirmation retreat participants.

We supported other ministries through our giving. In May you contributed $368 to support the food pantry, animal missions, UMC retirement communities, and apportionments. You gave an additional $330 to support our youth, our nursery, and for pastor appreciation.

Thank you for living and loving generously!
