Mosinee UMC’s theme for 2014 is “We Are Family.” For the next six weeks we will be exploring this at worship and in special activities. Throughout the upcoming year we’ll be building family ties between folks of all ages!
Sunday 1/5… “We Are Family” (Mark 3:33-35) – We are family because we worship & serve together. FREE BRUNCH & activity 9:30-10:30am; free gifts!
Sunday 1/12… “Daddy Sang Bass” (1 Corinthians 12:4-7, 27-28) – God gives each a part to play and the spiritual gifts to serve. Celebration of leadership.
Sunday 1/19… “Feeding the Family” (Luke 22:25-30a) – In families, everyone helps to get the dinner table ready and make sure no one goes hungry. Celebration of missions.
Sunday 1/26… “Chipping In” (2 Corinthians 8:1-9) – Everyone chips in for the family good. We give joyfully to support the family of God. Celebration of stewardship.
Sunday 2/2… “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner?” (Luke 14:12-24) – Families grow, and so does the church through evangelism and hospitality. New member Sunday.
Sunday 2/9… “Joining the Feast” (Revelations 19:6-10) – All who have faith in Christ join in the heavenly feast. We really are family! FREE CELEBRATION LUNCH at noon!
