Last Sunday, we lit candles during worship in honor of all the saints who have gone before us. As Henri Nouwen so beautifully states: “We are not called by God to do extraordinary things, but to do ordinary things with extraordinary love.” Saints are people whose ordinary lives are driven and fueled by extraordinary love.
