“We are his house, built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets and the cornerstone is Jesus Christ himself.” (Ephesians 2:20)

Last month our Accountable Leadership Board (ALB) went on a prayer tour of the church building. As we entered each room, closet or storage space, we said a prayer for the room and those who use it. What a wonderful experience to bless all the spaces in the church!

I’m challenging you to ask for a time for this tour to be made available to you.
Some of you might be surprised to learn that there is a shower in the basement.   In another basement room is a small kitchen with a stove and refrigerator. As I’m writing this I’m counting 38 different rooms and I’m not sure I’ve included all of them! Does that surprise you? It surprised me!

What goes on in your church? As we toured our building, we heard stories of all the wonderful, happy things and those affected in each room.

This building was standing empty before our church moved in. How we have grown! Some rooms we’ve outgrown and we needed to find more space! This is my second prayer walk through the church and they get better each time. As we continue God’s work, it only gets better.

At Easter we concentrate on renewing our faith. We do this through baptism and welcoming new members. We also acknowledge the gift of salvation we’ve been given from God through Jesus.

We are humbled by the agony Jesus suffered, and although he had moments of doubt, he got through his torture. We fall on our knees and thank Him for saving us.

Then on that beautiful, shining Easter morning, Jesus rose from the dead and we witnessed new life. Because of Jesus, we also have hope of new life. When trouble comes, it could never be as bad as what our Lord endured for you and me.

What a Happy Day when we let Jesus into our lives! This church is a Happy Place to help us have a Happy Life, and I send each of you Happy Blessing for a Happy Easter!

I’m happy about the abundance of prayer in this church. We’ve gathered almost every week for serious prayer since entering this building. You could also be a part of that prayer by joining us Wednesday evening at 7:15pm in the Chapel. Your prayer time will be a gift to the church and a bigger gift for you.

Happy Church – Happy Easter

“The believers met together and shared all they had, all the while praising God and enjoying the good will of all the people. Each day the Lord added to their group those who were being saved.” (Acts 2:44,47)
