“Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.” (Hebrews 11:1 NLT) A tale of two birthdays… A family had twin girls who were opposites in every way except looks. If one felt it was hot, the other thought it was cold. If one said the TV was too loud, the other wanted it turned up.

            “I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity.” (1 Timothy 2:1-3 NLT) Elections are over, and we have new leaders for our church and nation.
