The Wisconsin Annual Conference supports the largest population of Hmong immigrants and Hmong-Americans in the United States. Mosinee United Methodist Church is part of Circuit 9 in Wisconsin, which also includes the Hmong American Community United Methodist Church in Wausau, and Hmong members at Rothschild-Highland UMC. One challenge for Hmong Methodists is the lack of native-language preachers.

Our church remains active in missions, both local and global. In April, Cassie and Carissa Welch and their parents talked about the Compassion International program of sponsoring needy children in third-world countries. By the end of May, Mosinee UMC members had sponsored ten new children!
